Dr. Adamson's passion for surgery and desire to treat patients in need led him to pursue a career in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Adamson's training includes:

  • Brigham Young University, B.S. Exercise Science, 2006 
  • Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, D.M.D., 2010
  • University of Utah Medical Center, General Practice Residency, 2011  
  • University of the Pacific/Highland Hospital Oakland, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency, 2015

While in residency, Dr. Adamson received extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery (dental extractions), dental implants and implant supported dentures, outpatient anesthesia (in office sedations), trauma, orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), and was involved with two craniofacial clinics (treating patients with facial and jaw abnormalities).

Dr. Adamson’s love of the outdoors and proximity to family brought him to Reno for private practice after the completion of his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency.  Dr. Adamson is known for his exceptional work ethic and integrity and is committed to providing patients with the best possible care.

In 2017, Dr. Adamson received his board certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, reaching the highest level of certification within the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  Dr. Adamson is also an active member of the following professional organizations:

  • Northern Nevada Dental Society
  • American Dental Association
  • Sadi Fontaine Academy

Dr. Adamson resides in Reno with his wife, son, and 2 daughters.  He enjoys dirt biking, snowboarding, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.
